this page is just for my more outrageous thoughts about life.
right now, my only ‘published’ one is about spring and its significance to us as human beings. The majority of this theory can be attributed to Jon Foremans EP’s Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer as well as Donald Miller’s novel Searching for God Knows What.
ok so here goes,
So Ive been playing with this idea in my head about God and spring and their correlation to one another.
So, lets say in the bible while Adam and Eve were in the garden it was spring. I mean everything was teeming with life, mainly because God walked among the animals. Everything was beautiful because it was in direct relation with the living breathing God.
So later in the bible the FALL of man occurs, almost as if it is autumn in which we fall away from the tree of lifeĀ i.e God. So then, for about 2000 years, man had no way to be next to the author of creation and the tree of life. So we experienced deep pain suffering and death, a winter like state.
But dont forget my friends there is jesus. And when jesus comes he speaks of knowing the father and gives all of these nifty and confusing parables about life. And unlike other religious leaders, he dies for what he believes. But what is truly special, is the day he is resurrected. Jesus is resurrected in the first full moon of spring almost as to say that we can finally be connected to the father again because of his sacrifice. That God’s love is so strong be pulled us out of the grizzly cold that lays in winter right back into the warmth, growth and life that exists in spring.
Jesus being resurrected in the beginning of Spring, is a very powerful symbol to me that points to the glory of God and our ability to walk as close with the living breathing God, like Adam and Eve did in the garden.
Jesus died so we could be back with the father in the garden.
At least thats why I think.
